From our base in rural Hampshire, we at the Red Beehive Company offer natural pollination services to agriculture and horticulture, offering consultancy services across the UK and Europe.
We also make and sell bee hotels, hedgehog houses and bird and bat boxes, with installation and maintenance contracts available for corporate customers.
Robin designs his bee hotels with the correct size and lengths of tubes to encourage the bees to nest, using only environmentally sound materials.
Wild bees are super pollinators and give us an abundance of fruit and flowers, by encouraging them into your garden you are protecting the food chain and increasing biodiversity.
Wild bees don’t swarm as they live as solitary bees and they don’t carry nectar so there is very little risk of being stung. This makes solitary bees perfect for schools and gardens.
The softwood used in the construction of all our products is approved by the Forestry Stewardship Council UK (FSC).
FSC is an international, non-governmental organisation dedicated to promoting responsible management of the world’s forests. It was founded in 1993 in response to public concern about deforestation and demand for a trustworthy wood-labelling scheme. There are national working groups more than 50 countries including the UK. FSC UK is a registered charity. It is supported by NGOs including WWF, Greenpeace and the Woodland Trust.
